THE City Health Office said Saturday, May 9, that 13 Panaboans were among the passengers who were aboard the sweeper flights from Manila.
Six of them are overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), while seven were stranded in Manila.
They were immediately sent to the designated PUM Facilities of the Provincial Government upon arrival.
According to the Provincial Health Office through a PIA report, the returnees were tested negative but still have to undergo the quarantine for observation.
One returnee messaged the City Information about their condition to assure the public that they are in good hands.
"So far pag abot namo, okay man ang dagan tanan. Gi brief me sa mga Do's and Dont's. Everyday naay naga check sa amoa nga assigned nurse," the returnee.
If found completely negative of the virus, each will be issued an appropriate certification from the health authorities.
Mayor Jose Relampagos reminded everyone to follow health guidelines and read or watch information coming from the government channels and partner media to avoid fake news.
He said the City Health Office of Panabo is on top of the situation with strong support from other IATF members.
He added that their safety and opportunity to return is enough to realize that there is hope in this crisis. (PR)
