

IN A rousing speech before a massive crowd at the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas Proclamation Rally in Carmen, Davao del Norte, Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to public service as he marked his 30th year in politics.
Revilla received an enthusiastic response from the audience as he acknowledged the strong support of the people of Davao Region and Davao del Norte in particular. He also recognized fellow senators in attendance, including Tulfo, Sotto, Marcos, Lacson, Abalos, Binay, Cayetano, Lapid, Pacquiao, Tolentino, and Villar.
“Mabuhay ang Ilocos Norte! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Mabuhay ang Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas!” Revilla declared, receiving an enthusiastic response from the audience. He acknowledged the strong support of the people of Ilocos Norte and recognized fellow senators in attendance, including Tulfo, Sotto, Marcos, Lacson, Abalos, Binay, Cayetano, Lapid, Pacquiao, Tolentino, and Villar.
Reflecting on his three decades in government, Revilla highlighted his journey from Vice Governor and Governor of Cavite to Senator and Chairman of the Video Regulatory Board (VRB). He recalled how the people’s overwhelming support made him the top-voted senator in 2010, despite the challenges and political attacks he faced.
"Grabeng panggigiba pero kahit ano pang giba ang gawin nila, hindi tayo sumuko sa laban," he said, emphasizing his resilience. "Si Bong Revilla ay isang mandirigma—habang nasasaktan, lalong lumalaban. Habang naduduguan, lalong tumatapang!"
Revilla underscored his legislative accomplishments, including the lifetime validity of birth certificates, the Expanded Centenarian Law co-authored with Senator Imee Marcos, and over 300 laws passed from more than 2,000 bills filed.
"Basta tandaan niyo, si Bong Revilla ay ipaglalaban ang karapatan ng bawat isa sa inyo, hanggang sa huling patak ng aking dugo!" he declared.
The senator concluded his speech by calling for unity and support in the upcoming elections, reminding voters of his ballot number: "Bong Revilla, number 11 sa balota!" PR
