THE Davao City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) said the ongoing Sta. Ana Pier beautification project is almost done with the transfer of tensile tents.

"So far, we are working on the transfer of tents, which will be ready for public's use," CTOO chief Generose Tecson said during an interview with VoxPop Davao on Thursday, August 30.

Tecson said the transfer is already 80 percent complete. The tents will be ready for use by first week of September.

"These tents are from the Asian Food Market in Abreeza given to us by Tieza," she said.

She also urged the public to help the city in its effort to create green spaces and to take care of the environment through responsible waste disposal.

"The City Government is doing all it can to beautify Davao City and create green spaces where Dabawenyos and visitors can visit," Tecson said.

"We do hope that we can all help by doing our share in keeping our city clean and green by taking responsibility of our trash as well as beautifying and greening our homes and establishments," she added.
