HOMEGROWN retail giant NCCC Mall is set to open portions of its highly anticipated NCCC Mall Ma-a during the third week of December 2024.
During an intimate celebration of NCCC’s anniversary on December 1, Lafayette Lim, president and CEO of the NCCC Group of Companies, shared their excitement about the upcoming launch. Lim highlighted that the supermarket will be among the first sections to open, but further details were not disclosed.
In a previous interview, Lim underscored the significance of the December opening, tying it to the anniversary of NCCC Supermarket and Department Store Main Magsaysay—the company’s first retail venture, established on December 1, 1978.
"Our first supermarket and department store doon sa (therein) Magsaysay, the opening date was December 1, 1978, so as much as possible we want to keep our anniversary close to that date," Lim said.
NCCC Mall Ma-a, spanning approximately 60,000 square meters, features a design inspired by the Philippine eagle and its natural habitat—symbolizing the company’s resilience.
The mall will include retailers, recreational facilities, a food court, and anchor brands across four levels above ground, with a basement level for parking.
For customer convenience, the facility will offer three lift lobbies, four passenger elevators, four service elevators, 15 escalators, and a walkalator. CEA
