DAVAO Light and Power Company (Davao Light) has announced scheduled power interruptions in certain areas of Davao City on February 7, 8, and 10, 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to upgrade power lines and improve the city's electricity supply.
According to their Facebook post, on February 7, power interruptions will affect the following Bacaca areas from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Petunia St., Asuzena St., Camia St., Adelfa St., Magnolia St., Bougainvilla St., Ilang2x St., Rosal St., Begonia St., Lily St., Sampaguita St., and El Rio Vista Village.
On February 8, power will be temporarily cut off from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in these Buhangin areas: Humble St., Aloe St., Rose Ave., Openness St., Reliable St., Triumph St., Calmness St., Courage St., Order St., Joy St., Succulent St., Grace St., Faith St., Charity St., Piety St., Kenlies St., Polite St., Serenity St., Mercy St., Elegance St., Generous St., Peace St., NHA Chapel St., and NHA.
Meanwhile, power outages will affect the following areas in Buhangin from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on February 10: Bauhinia Circle, Marigold Circle, Dahlia Circle, Carnation Circle, Ladislawa Ave., Camelia Ave., Cattleya St., Zinnia Ave., Zinnia Dr., Begonia Circle, Begonia St., Magnolia St., Orchid St., Gladoulos St., Garden Villas, Azelia St., Lotus St., Ladislawa Garden Village, and Pioneer Village.
Davao Light said that these outages are necessary for upgrading electrical infrastructure, which will ultimately enhance service and reduce future disruptions. The company encourages all affected customers to make the necessary preparations during this time. DEF
