THE Provincial Government of Davao Oriental has officially opened a Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Offsite Service Center in the province.

On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the PRC and the Province of Davao Oriental signed a Usufruct Agreement, allowing the PRC to operate from a facility at the Provincial Capitol.

Governor Niño Uy of Davao Oriental expressed that the province is committed to enhancing support for the PRC to better serve the public, particularly residents. He said that the signing of the agreement represents a strong partnership to deliver essential services to the people.

“This agreement ensures that the PRC has a home right at the heart of the Provincial Capitol, at the Old Governor's Mansion, a property of the Provincial Government. It now serves as a beautiful space where they are carrying out their operations and bringing vital services closer to our people,” Uy said.

Governor Uy also pointed out that the new office addresses the growing demand for local document processing, helping residents save money by eliminating the need to travel to other PRC offices.

“I firmly believe that our people deserve nothing less than the best. And it is our collective responsibility to provide every possible support necessary to unlock their potential, which will provide opportunities to make their lives better," he added.

The PRC office in Davao Oriental will be the 39th in the country. It will offer services such as licensure examination applications, exam administration, initial registrations, renewal of professional ID cards, authentication of Certificates of Registration (COR), issuance of certificates of passing and board ratings, certifications of good standing, and duplicate professional ID cards.
