Bong Coo holds youth clinic

FOUR-TIME world champion and four-time Asian Games gold medalist Olivia "Bong" Coo spearheaded a tenpin bowling clinic for 19 years old and below at the SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center Monday, February 25.

This was bared by newly-installed Metro Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Metba-Davao) president lawyer Joseph Flores in an e-mail.

He said the clinic, which is part of the Philippine Bowling Federation's (PBF's) grassroots development program, attracted 19 participants. Coo is the PBF secretry-general who also inducted the new set of officers of the recently-organized Metba-Davao Sunday.

National bowling team coaches Jojo Cañare and Orlean Batistil were also present along with PBF Trustee Gina Avecilla and MBA President Jingay Facuri.

Also inducted were Rene Dalayon (VP internal), Sonny Dimaano (VP external), Edwin Grasparil (secretary-general), Nestor Burgos (assistant sec-gen), Renato Zabat tTreasurer), Lito Ramajo (assistant treasurer), William Galacio (auditor), Atty. Arturo Gamolo (PRO), Samuel de la Rosa (business manager), Danny Usman and Cesar Delfin (tournament directors) and Ma. Vivienne Flores (VP-youth). (MLSA)
