CELSO Garcia captured the Datba Weekly Tournament title at SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center over the weekend.
Garcia, who had a handicap of 20, toppled a total of 630 pinfalls after three games to beat ABS-CBN anchor Paul Palacio, who rolled 605 pins in the 15-player competition that serves as qualifying for the monthly finals.
Garcia received P1,000, while Palacio claimed P500 runner-up prize in the bowlfest organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).
Ronald Martin (30) placed third by hitting 595 pinfalls.
Meanwhile, Jesly Palacio emerged champion in the three-game youth division tournament after she garnered 523 pinfalls. She outclassed Enzo Sulit and Benz Palacio who placed second and third, respectively.
Sulit amassed 511, while Benz struck for 488 pinfalls.
The top three youth pintopplers went home with P700, P400 and P200.
