DAVAO Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) president Rameses Tancontian annexed the weekly tournament title at the SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center, October 26.
Tancontian, who has a handicap of 29, toppled a total of 626 pinfalls after three games to pocket a cash prize of P800 in the 17-player cast.
He prevailed over Julius Cajis and Celso Garcia who placed second and third, respectively.
Cajis, whose handicap is 30, hit 610 pinfalls to settle for the P500 runner-up prize while Garcia, with 20 handicap, garnered 573 pinfalls to go home with P300.
Similar games will resume tomorrow, October 29, at the same venue.
Slots to the monthly finals are up for grabs in the Saturday and Tuesday tournaments.
