Mindanao champ bows out

MINDANAO champion Holy Trinity College of General Santos City lost its two games against separate rivals Tuesday, December 4, to bow out of contention in the ongoing 2018 Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) Visayas-Mindanao finals.

Visayas champion Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias outlasted Holy Trinity College, 82-80, while Cesafi champiom University of the Visayas Green Lancers crushed the Mindanaoans, 114-73, at the Almendras Gym Davao City Recreation Center in Davao City.

Thus, Colegio de Sta. Ana and UV arranged a finals showdown being played at the Arcadia Active Lifestyle Fitness Center as of Wednesday presstime.

The champion will book a seat in the regional championship slated December 6 to 8 wherein the winner will advance to the PCCL National Finals that will feature the NCAA and UAAP champions.
