THE Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Bulldogs ruled the football and futsal events of the Unit 5-Private School Athletic Association (Prisaa) 2018 Meet held in different venues over the weekend.
Defending champion RMC elementary football team demolished arch-rival Emar Human and Environmental College (Ehec) 13-0, 12-0 in the best-of-three finals held at the Tionko field.
Head coach Cedie Atangan said they prepared hard to win the title and represent Unit 5 in the upcoming Davao City Athletic Association (Dcaa) 2018 Meet.
"Araw-araw po ang training namin para makuha yung gustong goal namin na manalo po. Hindi po kami nag expect but we just did our best to win," Atangan said on their back-to-back feat.
RMC's high school football team, meanwhile, topped the secondary division through aggregate score.
The team crushed University of Mindanao, 13-0, then thrashed Agro Industrial Foundation College of the Philippines, 14-0, before tying Emar at 1-all.
Emar placed second.
Over at the RMC Gym, RMC's futsal team, coached by Kitoy Canton, also overwhelmed Emar, 10-0, to enter the Dcaa Meet on October 15 to 20.
