THE Unit 5-Prisaa (Private School Athletic Association) 2018 Meet opens at 8 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, at the Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Event Center.
Unit 5-Prisaa chairperson Ma. Lita Montalban, in an interview with Sun.Star Davao Monday, said the sports festival will serve as qualifier for the Unit 5 composition to the Davao City Athletic Association (Dcaa) meet and the Regional Prisaa.
She, however, said the opening program will highlight the traditional cheerdance competition, vocal solo and vocal duet.
"Dr. Maria Ines Asuncion, the schools division superintendent of the Department of Education Division of Davao City, will be our guest speaker during the program," Montalban said.
This year's meet is being participated by 17 Prisaa-member schools including Emar Human and Environmental College, Rizal Memorial Colleges, Abba's Orchard, Agro Industrial College Foundation of the Philippines, Amigo School of Calinan, Apo Learning Village Inc., Davao Doctors College, Good Soil Academy, Holy Spirit Academy of Calinan, Independent Liberty Baptist Academy, Jose Maria College, Mindanao Christian Foundation College of Southeast, Southern Philippines Baptist Theological Seminary, St. Francis College of Davao, University of Mindanao Ilang and University of Mindanao Davao City.
