ILOILO City's newly-opened molecular lab in Molo district passed with flying colors the proficiency test administered by the Department of Health-Research Institute for Tropical Medicine.
With this, the facility can finally be issued a license to operate as a testing laboratory.
Receiving of specimen is expected to start by next week.
It can process some 200-400 swab samples and releasing of results is expected in two days. (PR)
