FOUR days after he was ousted as speaker of the House of Representatives, Taguig-Pateros Representative Alan Peter Cayetano was removed legislative caretaker of the first district of Camarines Sur on Friday, October 16, 2020.
Cayetano was replaced by Rizal Representative Michael John Duavit, a close ally of new Speaker Lord Allan Velasco.
Cayetano was previously elected as legislative caretaker of Camarines first district following the death of Representative Marissa Andaya.
Cayetano was ousted by 186 lawmakers during a remote session at the Celebrity Sports Plaza on October 12.
