SENATOR Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. was rushed to the hospital Tuesday afternoon, August 18, 2020, after developing pneumonia, his wife Bacoor, Cavite Mayor Lani Revilla said.
In a Facebook post, Mayor Revilla said her husband's latest X-ray result showed that he has developed pneumonia.
Revilla said the senator "badly needed" hospital care.
"Father God pls help my husband. He is being rushed to the hospital. His latest X-ray shows that he has developed pneumonia and isolation in a regular facility is no longer ideal. Hospital care badly needed. Father we lift him up to you," she posted on Facebook.
The senator has been in isolation since August 9, when he announced that he tested positive for Sars-CoV-2, the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). (MVI/VoxPop Philippines)
