TROPICAL Storm Hanna (Lekima) slightly intensified, with maximum sustained winds increasing to 75 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of up to 90 kph while moving north northwest, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
As of 3 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2019, the center of Hanna was estimated at 940 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
The southwest monsoon, enhanced by the tropical storm, continues to affect Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Bicol Region, and Western Visayas.
Cagayan Valley will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought by the trough of Hanna, said the weather bureau.
Mindanao and the rest of Visayas would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.
