TWO suspected drug pushers were arrested in a drug bust around 2:45 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, in Barangay Pasil, Cebu City.

The suspects were identified as Christopher Abella Ferrer, 33, who was first in the high-value target list of Cebu City Police Office, and Erald Cabada Daan, 32.

The suspects both yielded 55.08 grams of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu" worth P192,780, a .45 pistol, three .38 revolvers, two magazines, 17 bullets, and cash amounting to P800 including the P200 drug bust money.

Ferrer was caught last February for violating Section 11, or possession of dangerous drugs, of Republic Act 9165 also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

He was granted temporary liberty after he posted bail.

After three weeks of surveillance, police learned that Ferrer is back in the illegal drug trade with his cohort.

Ferrer and Daan will be charged with violation of Section 5 (selling dangerous drugs), and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. ( VoxPop Cebu)
