THE Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) will conduct a two-day re-training of Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) personnel starting Friday at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.
The refresher training is in connection with the simultaneous implementation of the anti-illegal drug campaign of Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas together with other provincial and city police offices.
The purpose of the training is to enhance the knowledge of the DEU personnel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities on the campaign against illegal drugs.
All police chiefs and intelligence operatives are expected to participate in the activity.
Topics to be discussed in the two-day training include Police Operational Procedures, Protocol in the Conduct of Anti-Illegal Drug Operations and Coordination, Intelligence Cycle, Information Operations, Human Rights Based Policing, and Evidence Handling and Filing of Cases.
