UNIVERSITY of St. La Salle (USLS) successfully defended their Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association (Nopsscea) men’s football title Thursday with a 3-1 win over University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) Rams at the North Football Field in Talisay City.
Scoring for the Norman Fegidero-mentored champion team was Jo Warren Bedia with a pair of goals and one from Kent Guevarra.
Completing the champion squad were Harunori Aoki, Tristan Kit Robles, Regie Brenn Cisneros, Elimona Usman, John Mark Jamelo, Carlos Pinote, Charles Ralph Dabao III, Charles Ivan Barberan, Caryl Ybañes, Klent Guevarra, Ramie Dizon, Kjay Gedor, Randee Temana, Ashli Pamilar, Vann Llyod Baguioro, Oriel Carlie Xavier Tejada, Kenneth Paul Infante and Rio Ian Perez.
Joining Fegidero in the sidelines were assistant coach Carlo Andrew Demegillo and medical staff Janelle Kathreen Maleza, with team managers Nicolas Golez and Leo Rey Yanson.
USLS will represent Nopsscea in the upcoming National Prisaa Games. (HGD)
