THIRTEEN personalities were arrested in a series of drug bust in Barangay Poblacion, Danao City, Cebu, on Tuesday afternoon, August 15.
Arrested pushers were Marylou Batucan Arcilla, Ronelo Laping Muana, Edem Argallon Manulat Jr., and Erwin Lambayan Galeos.
The alleged users were Rency Samsom Rosales, Danilo Pepito Caputolan, Randy Perez Malbago, Ricardo Pistolante Sinajohon, Jose Joy Roble Arevalo, Rosendo Verances Perez, Melquiades Verances Perez, Jomar Quizon Canoy, and Lindie Gacrama Giango.
Danao City Police Chief Gerard Ace Pelare said Arcilla had been listed a street-level target.
The rest of the suspects are newly identified personalities.
Seized from the suspects were 56 small sachets believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu.
Aside from packs of shabu, operatives also seized P1,400 in cash believed to be proceeds of illegal activities and drug paraphernalia from the suspects.
The contraband has a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P33,040.
The arrested drug personalities will face complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (KAL/VoxPop Cebu)
