FOURTEEN graduates of Iloilo City Leadership Academy (ICLA) plan to continue the implementation of community projects.

The delegates were conferred as the pioneer graduates of the ICLA on March 3 and 4. They are now officially called ICLA fellows.

ICLA aims to mold young leaders through “holistic engagement with reality and preparing them for what it is to be a leader.”

Among the projects were:

  • Project Aid to HIV by Mary Hope Abilo Conquest;
  • Conquest: Iloilo’s First Esports Convention by Brainard Abunyawan;
  • Break the Silence by Jose Emmanuel Combatir;
  • Pint for a Pet by Alaina D’Cunha;
  • LEAD to LID by Heather Angelique Paranga; and
  • Tagamolila Earth Work by Jeremiah John Vardeleon

After the training, the 14 fellows are expected to mentor the next batch of trainees. (Carolyn Jane Abello)
