TWO boys drowned in separate incidents in Negros Occidental last Thursday.
In Sagay City, four-year-old Edwin Aligato Jr., of Purok Bombils, Barangay Old Sagay, drowned in the pool of a beach resort in the said barangay.
Police said the victim was invited by his friend to go to a nearby resort at around 1 p.m.
After three hours, Aligato’s body was found floating in a swimming pool.
In Valladolid town, a Grade 5 pupil drowned at sea in Purok Katipunan, Barangay Sagua around 11 a.m.
He was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
Police withheld the name of the 11-year-old victim upon the request of his family.
