THE creation of new positions under City Transportation and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) and City Archives and Records Department were among the identified reasons of the increased city budget for Personal Services in 2018.
The 18th Davao City council last week approved P7.6 B 2018 annual budget wherein the total PS under the General Fund Proper is P1,478,585,908.
With this amount, it is noted that there is an increase of P137,213,200 or 10.2 percent from the current year's PS of P1,341,372,708.
According to the resolution proposed by Davao City Councilor Danilo Dayanghirag, aside from the creation of new positions, the increase of PS budget is due to the implementation of the 3rd tranche of the Salary Schedule of personnel, the provision of Mid-Year Bonus, Productivity Enhancement Incentive and Performance Based Bonus.
