TWO men are facing charges before the court after they mauled a neighbor in a village in Davao City on Saturday, June 10 .
Charged with serious physical injuries, trespass to dwelling and malicious mischief are Mansueto Antes Bayale and James Antes Bayale.
In a resolution dated June 19, prosecutor Irene Joy Tala-Montero found probable cause to charge the two accused based on the complaint filed by Rene Isidro Blanco.
Record showed that the incident happened around 6:40 p.m., Blanco was outside his house when James, who was intoxicated, punched him for no reason.
The complainant lost consciousness and when he woke up, he was already in his house. From outside, he heard the loud voices of men, whom he saw were the two accused together with a Jeric Antes Bayale jumping over their concrete fence.
The three Bayales' forced they way into Blanco's house. The two accused and Jeric mauled the latter and destroyed the jalousie.
The damage was pegged at around P5,000.
