TWO alleged commercial sex workers were arrested after they robbed a Chinese national in a hotel at Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City early Monday morning.
Collared were Daisy Mae Brillantes, 25, of Villa Mercedes in Barangay Singcang-Airport, and Nichole Sancho, 26, of Villa Villeta in Barangay Estefania.
The name of the victim was withheld by the police.
Chief Inspector Ruel Culanag, head of Police Station 8, said the 47-year-old victim contracted the two female suspects to join him at the hotel.
While the victim was inside the comfort room, the two women apparently stole his personal belongings and money.
The suspects disappeared along with his cellular phone worth P13,000 and P8,000 cash.
Culanag said the suspects were positively identified by the victim after they were arrested in a hot pursuit operation in the area around 2 a.m.
The suspects will be released after the 18-hour reglementary period, if the victim fails to pursue theft charges against them, he added.
