FOUR personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Central Visayas tested positive during a region-wide random drug test, an official of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) revealed on Monday.
DILG Assistant Secretary Nestor Quinsay said the drug test was started by the BFP last August 26 in the whole Central Visayas Region.
The fire stations, where the personnel who tested positive for drugs were assigned, have yet to be revealed, awaiting the results of the confirmatory test.
BFP-Central Visayas director Senior Superintendent Samuel Tadeo admitted that of the four BFP personnel, three are assigned in Bohol and one in Cebu. (JOB/VoxPop Cebu)
