5 Davao police officers reshuffled

THE Davao City Police Office (DCPO) reshuffled five more police officer to new positions effective Sunday, September 18, as part of its routinary movement.

Chief Inspector Ronald Lao was relieved from his post as head of the San Pedro Police Station but was assigned to the Toril Police Station.

Toril police head Superintendent Jed Clamor took the post of Superintendent Alfredo Baloran as head of the Mobile Patrol Group as the latter replaced Superintendent Vianney Ross Lagundi of the Police Community Relations Branch who was transferred to the Intelligence Division.

Intelligence Division head Chief Inspector Ramil Macarampat now leads San Pedro Police Station, replacing Lao.

DCPO spokesperson Senior Inspector Catherine dela Rey said the reshuffling of the five police officials has nothing to do with their performance.

"This is only a regular movement in the best interest of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO). It is not necessary to wait for two years before we will be reassigned to another office," dela Rey said.

Last month, five police officials were also reshuffled and reassigned to another office for the same reason. (ICT)
