FIVE jins from the Negros Taekwondo Union (NTU) Tigers have qualified to the Philippines National Team Cadet Training Pool after their impressive performances in the National Team Poomsae Final Selection, and the National Team Final Selection (Kyorugi) in Manila.
Tigers head coach Pauline Reyes said those who made it to poomsae cadet national pool are Jaime Hannah Agacoos of Tangub Christian Academy, Maria Charlize Subardiala of St. John’s Institute, and Leigh Andee Rodriguez of Christian Venture Academy.
Agacoos and Rodriguez will be joined by Arianne Espida of Negros Occidental High School in the kyurogi cadet national training pool while school mate April Joy Patigas made it in kyurogi juniors national pool.
Reyes’ players achievement proved that Bacolod City and Negros Occidental have the pool of talents who are qualified to represent the country in international taekwondo tournaments. (HGD)
