AFTER they were charged for forcibly entering Bacolod Bunny Ranch at Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City last Wednesday, the eight construction workers were released from detention after they posted bail on Friday.
Charged for malicious mischief before the Bacolod City Prosecutor’s Office were John Paul Rama, 24, Vicente Vigor, 31, and Jonathan Dieta, 46, all of Barangay Loboc, Iloilo City; Rodrigo Alingasa, 47, and Erol Delgado, 25, both of Cadiz City, Negros Occidental; and Bacolod residents Donald Carampatana, 36, and Jay Demandar, 34, both of Barangay Alijis, and Joseph Baykin, 55, of Barangay Singcang-Airport.
Chief Inspector Ruel Culanag, head of Police Station 8, said Taiwanese nationals Hansuan Chang and Yi Yu Chen, who hired them, paid for each of their bail.
They were released from police custody at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
On November 29, the suspects arrived and destroyed the portion of the establishment’s glass door upon the orders of the two Taiwanese nationals who also owned the bar with Joseph Nazareno due to business conflict.
The suspects left the bar when policemen arrived while the Taiwanese nationals were just waiting outside.
Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, officer-in-charge of Bacolod City Police Office, said there will be no “white wash” in the investigation.
