CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- At least eight drug personalities were arrested in separate anti-illegal drugs operations in Angeles City over the weekend.
Senior Superintendent Patrick Villacorte, Angeles City police acting director, identified the arrested as Randy Calma, 36; Christian Gonzales, 19; and Janice Alberto, 33, all residents of Barangay San Francisco, Magalang, Pampanga; Patrick Nepomuceno, 26; Jules Sotto, 30; and Lyca Haidi Dalupan, all residents of Barangay Balibago, Angeles City; and Enrique Garcia, 45 and Orlando Pineda, 40, both of Pampang, Angeles City.
Villacorte said the City Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the drug bust in barangays Sto. Domingo, Pulung Maragul and Pampang that resulted to the arrest of the drug suspects.
Recovered from them were 18 sachets of suspected shabu, several drug paraphernalia, aluminium foil, a lighter and marked money.
Police filed in court charges for possession of illegal drugs against the arrested suspects. (Ric Sapnu)
