A detailed life

EVENT organizers are there to remove the burden of the preparation and the nitty-gritty details on the event itself. This requires topnotch expertise and not the fly-by-night type who give more headaches that solutions.

This has been the mantra of Kyam Parallon, owner of KP Events, as he tackles weddings, birthdays, expos, festivals, and parties. His team's goal is to give a memorable experience to every client.

A newcomer, with just over a year of experience in the industry, Parallon said it wasn't a smooth journey and that he has had his share of unfortunate incidents, but he keeps on.

It was a leap of faith when he decided to establish his own business and ventured on this risky and competitive industry. Despite being a newbie, he has been able to carve his name.

He recalls that even in high school, his teachers would assign him to decorate the school stage whenever they had an activity. He loved doing it, he said. He took on a few jobs as an adult whle doing some organizing on the sides, but nothing satisfied him until he decided to focus on events organizing.

Like in any business, he said, there are different kinds of clients, including the difficult ones, and those who demand too much. But it's all part of the challenge and he is able to deliver on his proposals and designs.

One of the things the makes him even motivated to work is the positive feedbacks he receives from the clients.

Parallon, who was born and raised in Compostela Valley says that his job requires an attention to details. Behind the lovely decors and sets are sleepless nights with his team.

But the positive feedbacks and referrals are bringing in more clients as he insists on honesty, integrity and professionalism for everyone in his company. So far, their efforts are paying off.
