ACTRESS Isabel Granada is still in coma after collapsing during a tourism event in Doha, Qatar.

In a "Bandila" interview with her husband Arnel Cowley on Wednesday evening, October 25, the latter disclosed that Granada complained of headache before she collapsed.

She was then rushed to Hamad General Hospital on Tuesday evening (Manila time).

"It was like any other normal headache so we didn't pay much attention to it. Bigla na lang sabi niya, 'Ay, nahihilo ako'. And then she just collapsed without a warning. Beforehand there was no sign of anything. She was laughing, she was having a bath, she was joking with me," he said.

Cowley said his wife suffered from "brain hemorrhage which indicates aneurism and in turn affected her heart."

Granada is still unresponsive and unconscious as of this writing.

"It is hard to fathom that this happened to my wife. It's all very sudden. She plays badminton and volleyball. She's very, very healthy," Cowley said.

Granada is in Qatar after she was invited to be a celebrity speaker at the Philippine Trade Tourism Conference.

The couple also celebrated their wedding anniversary last week.
