A SISTER of actress Maritoni Fernandez was found dead on Sunday, September 11, with a cardboard saying "Drug pusher ng mga celebrities, sunod na kayo!"
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Guillermo Eleazar said the body of Ma. Aurora Moynihan was found around 1:55 a.m. along Temple Drive corner Giraffe Street Barangay Ugong Norte.
Eleazar said that based on the statement of the witnesses, a silver Toyota Fortuner parked in the area, in which Moynihan and an unidentified men alighted from, then they heard gunshots minutes later.
Eleazar said spent shells from a caliber .40 were found at the crime scene, while four sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, were seen beside Moynihan's body.
But Eleazar said they are yet to identify if the killing was drug related.
Moynihan's family is yet to release a statement.
Earlier, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said several showbiz personalities are in their radar for their alleged involvement in illegal drugs, but the agency refused to divulge their identities.
In its update, the Philippine National Police said there were 1,935 persons killed outside of police operations, while 1,466 were killed during legitimate police operations.
It said 1,490 of the killings were under investigation. (Sunnex)
