JUSTICE Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II has directed the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to place in its lookout list the cops tagged in the abduction and killing of South Korean businessman Jee Ick-joo last October.
The extremely urgent motion issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ) addressed to BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, NBI Director Dante Gierran, Prosecutor General Victor Sepulveda, and PNP Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa was released on Tuesday, January 24.
The subjects asked to be placed in the Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) are: SPO3 Ricky Sta. Isabel, SPO4 Roy Villegas, PO2 Christopher Baldovino, Ramon Yalung and four other unidentified individuals believed to be members of the PNP, alias “Sir Dumlao”, alias “Jerry” and alias “Ding” and alias "pulis".
They are facing a case of Kidnapping for Ransom with Homicide in Angeles, Pampanga Regional Trial Court Branch 58, following the DOJ's finding of a probable cause to indict them of the said crime.
The DOJ tasked the BI to monitor and inform the units probing the abduction case of Jee, including the NBI and PNP, should the subjects pass the immigration counters in local and international airports and seaports.
“This ILBO will ensure that the personnel named therein will not be beyond the reach of our investigating bodies. It will also ensure that these persons are given the chance to present their side of the story when called upon," Aguirre said. (VoxPop Philippines)
