A RELATIVE of detained suspected drug lord Alvaro "Barok" Alvaro and four others were arrested in separate drug busts Sunday dawn, September 24, in Danao City in northern Cebu, police said.
Ronald Ramoneda Alvaro, 39, was arrested along with his alleged cohort Jonel Morales Manco, 29, at 4:15 a.m., said Chief Insp. Gerard Ace Pelare, Danao City police commander.
They yielded 11 small packs of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, or "shabu," with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P7,080.
Five minutes later, police arrested Charlston Roble Mata, 35; Arnel Pajoay Barosa, 24; and Roel Morre Arioja, 34. Three small packs of "shabu" worth P1,770 were confiscated from them.
The suspects will be facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
