WHO says Valentine’s is just for couples?

Yes, February is the love season. Couples, for this season, buy gifts for each other, the city will also be filled with vendors in the streets selling red roses. It is the day when teddy bears are sold-out in the market.

But on the other side, it is also the day which the single people loathe, because it shoves reality to their faces that they still haven’t found “the one” yet.

For singles out there, don’t stress yourself so much. There are still many things that a single person can do on the 14th.

You are not "singled out" single

Not everyone in this world is in relationship. There are also single men and women out there waiting for their soul mate. Always remember that true love waits and the best is yet to come. And if you cannot get over past relationships, just let it be, find fun things to do on Valentine’s Day. You will still live.

Being single is the best moment of your life

Treat yourself

It would be nice if you take yourself somewhere. Dine in your favorite restaurant. Cook your favorite meal. You can buy chocolates for your own if you want. There are many nice ways to show love to self. Seize the day.

Be with your single friends or family

Valentine’s Day also offers possibility of meeting other singles in parties or single in your place. Be receptive on fun activities hosted everywhere for singles, and believe it or not there are many packages you can enjoy if you just ask and inquire. Don’t stay at home because you don’t have a date, after all even if it is not Valentine’s Day, you are responsible for your own happiness.

P.S. You may also want to spend a day with your mother, father or siblings and have a family bonding.

Always remember that Valentines is just a day of the year. You may care so much now because of the romantic atmosphere which people wanted to take part with. To all the singles out there, you will survive this day. Spread love!
