AFTER trailing by 19 in the 3rd quarter, the New Orleans Pelicans came charging back to shut down the New York Knicks in overtime, 123-118.
The first quarter was dominated by the Knicks as they held the Pelicans into just 13 points as Kristaps Porzingis scored 9 points in the quarter helping his team have a 16 point edge over the Pelicans.
From the first to third quarter, the Knicks were dominating and were racking up the assists and at one point, had a 19 point lead by the end of the third quarter.
By the fourth quarter, Davis led his team to a 13-4 run to send the game to overtime with a layup.
In the overtime, Pelican's Jrue Holiday scored 9 of his team's 14 points to complete the comeback and win by 5 points, 123-118.
Holiday had 31 points and 5 assists and Demarcus Cousins had a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds along with Davis' 48 points for the Pelicans.
