A 44-YEAR-OLD Philippine Army officer lost his cash amounting to P100,000, his government-issued firearm, and other valuables to an unidentified thief in Barangay Poblacion, Samboan, southern Cebu.
Technical Sergeant Dante Catubig Lisondra of 5th Special Forces Company in Southern Command discovered the burglary past 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 10.
Aside from his savings and .45 Remington pistol loaded with seven bullets, his identification cards, ATM (automated teller machine) card, coins and flash drive were also stolen.
Investigation showed that the culprit came inside Lisondra's house through an open portion in the kitchen. (VoxPop Cebu)
