THE week-long Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) meetings in Cebu City is now concluded with zero incidents.
The Police Regional Office-Central Visayas (PRO-7) and the other 22 partner agencies commended the security for the more than 200 foreign and local delegates of the international summit.
PRO-7 spokesperson Senior Insp. Reslyn Abella said all the delegates have departed from the city safely to their home countries.
"The last Asean delegate has already departed with no untoward incident," Abella said in a text message.
More than 4,600 security personnel stood guard over the Asean meetings that started on Saturday, July 1, and ended on Sunday, July 9. (VoxPop Cebu)
