BACOLOD City Police Office (BCPO) chief Rhoderick Minong said on Thursday, October 12, that he has no plan to change the chiefs in the city’s 10 police stations.
Minong assumed as BCPO chief, following the relief of Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky last October 10 on the heels of the series of robbery hold-up incidents in the city that prompted social media posts depicting Bacolod as no longer safe.
He started to visit the police stations a day after he assumed the post to check the personnel.
Minong said he supports the 10 police chiefs in their respective areas of assignments.
He added that he is focusing more on internal security operation especially while the MassKara Festival is ongoing.
“I have additional duties and responsibilities especially to ensure that peace and order situation is maintained during the duration of the 22-day festivities,” he added. (GYM)
