THE City Government of Bacolod will host the Career Executive Service Officers (Ceso) General Assembly at L’Fisher Hotel from November 21 to 23.
City Administrator John Orola said Friday, November 17, about 1,000 delegates from various government agencies are expected to attend.
“Bacolod City was the unanimous choice of many because of what they have heard about the city,” he said.
Orola added that he received an appeal from the organizers that there should be a massive clean-up in various areas like the cleaning-up of the walls and buildings that have been vandalized.
He said that the City Government along with the Bacolod City Police Office, Department of Education, and Department of Public Services will start the massive clean-up with the theme “Bacolod Palangga Ko” at 7 a.m. today along Lacson Street, Bacolod Public Plaza, and Negros Occidental High School campus.
“This massive clean-up campaign or awareness will serve as a warning to those who engaged in vandalism,” Orola said.
He said they also need the assistance of the business sector, civic organizations, government agencies, and schools in the clean-up activity.
“Since this is our city so we should take care of it and keep it clean,” Orola added.
