SENIOR Superintendent Fred Trajeras Jr., regional director of Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Negros Island Region, said he will be transferred to the National Capital Region (NCR) after the dissolution of the Negros Island Region (NIR).

He said that he will be assigned as BFP-NCR’s assistant regional director for administration.

Trajeras said he already talked to Chief Superintendent Leonard Bañago, acting chief of BFP, about his new designation when he went to Manila last Monday.

Trajeras served as regional director of BFP-NIR for 10 months and has initiated several projects, including creation of satellite training center.

The BFP-NIR has more than 40 personnel who will return to their main units while five officials will be displaced while the clearing and inventory is ongoing.

He thanked those who became the bureau’s partners. (GYM)
