A BUSINESSMAN escaped after three unidentified men on board a vehicle without plate number fired at his car at Liroville Subdivision, Barangay Singcang-Airport in Bacolod City early Tuesday morning, October 10.
Senior Inspector Wilfredo Benoman Jr., head of Police Station 8, said Joseph Nazareno, 45, of Barangay Taculing was driving his gray sports utility vehicle (SUV) when another vehicle, a white SUV, reportedly overtook his.
The passengers fired at him around 3:10 a.m.
He stopped for a while but the assailants continued to shoot, prompting him to find a way to escape.
Nazareno was unharmed, but his vehicle was slightly damaged.
Police recovered from the scene three fired bullets and slugs of .45 caliber pistol.
