A CREAM white blanket was found about 36 meters or 118 feet deep in the seas between the islands of Caubian and Olango in Lapu-Lapu City earlier Monday, June 19.
The search for the body of slain Bien Unido, Bohol Mayor Gisela Boniel is already on its 10th day.
The search operation team led by Chief Inspector Junnel Caadlawon, chief for operations of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office, said the blanket was spotted with the use of a side-scan sonar.
Before Gisela's body was thrown to the sea, she was reportedly wrapped in a blanket when she was carried to board a boat docked in the resort, where she and her friend stayed, last June 7. (FMG/VoxPop Cebu)
