BORBON Police Chief William Homoc said he wants Police Officer 1 Dominador Banzon relieved from the town's police station after the arrest of the latter's live-in partner.
Jenny Suson, Banzon's live-in partner, was caught Saturday night, April 29, by operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) for her alleged involvement in illegal numbers game, masiao. Seized from her were tally sheets with different number combinations, stubs and bet money.
Homoc said he wants the transfer of Banzon to avoid possible leak in the future.
Superintendent Joie Pacito Yape, the PIB chief, said they will summon Banzon for questioning.
He said it is up to Cebu Provincial Police Office Chief Eric Noble to relieve Banzon. (KAL/VoxPop Cebu)
