Bukidnon Faith, Corpus Christi make 13-U final

BUKIDNON Faith Christian School Inc. (BFCSI) and Corpus Christi School (CCS) will face each in the final after eliminating their respective foes in the 8th Loyola Cup 13-under semifinals on Saturday at XU GYM.

The more experienced Bukidnon Faith overwhelmed City Central School Stingers, 82-48; while Corpus Christi drubbed Valencia City’s School of the Morning Star, 79-68.

Galvadores fired 24 points to lead Bukidnon Faith, while Campos gave 17 markers.

Bukidnon Faith was so strong for the Stingers in all angles and never gave them any breather.

Corpus has now two teams reaching to another division final after its win over SMS Valencia in the 13-under crossover round.

Josh Lim and Lance Joshua Balbutin gave 12 and nine points respectively in leading the Corpus baby Knights of coach Carlo Dagalea.

On Friday, Dagalea’s Jr. Knights marched to the 15-under final after beating St. Mary’s School, 75-60.

They will face newcomer San Isidro National High School of Malaybalay City in the final.

San Isidro pulled a surprising win against Sacred Heart of Jesus Montessori High School jr. Saints, 61-58, in their semifinal encounter.
