ACTRESS Camille Prats is set to tie the knot with non-showbiz boyfriend John "VJ" Yambao on Saturday, January 7.
The couple will exchange wedding vows at Prats' family-owned Nayomi Sanctuary Resort in Balete, Batangas.
This is going to be Prats' second marriage.
She first exchanged wedding vows with Anthony Linsangan but the latter passed away in 2011 because of nasopharyngeal cancer.
Linsangan was only 31 years old.
Meanwhile, Prats and Yambao reconnected again in December 2012, 20 years after their last meeting.
They were grade school classmates but drifted apart when Yambao moved to the Unites States while Prats continued her acting career in the Philippines.
"We started talking, hindi kami magkasama and magkalayo kami. He was in the States and we're only Facebooking and texting. I cannot say I started becoming fond of him because of how he was with me. He was very consistent. I really felt na pinilit niya yung sarili niya, na he wants to be part of my life," she told Sun.Star in a previous interview.
The actress said she was reluctant at first to enter into a new relationship after Linsangan’s death, but she saw the good qualities of Yambao.
"Nakita ko yung sincerity niya... how genuine he was and his intentions are," she said.
Prats added that Yambao get along well with her son Nathan.
