CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- All is set for the Wage and Productivity Caravan on May 16 at the Quest Hotel and Conference Center (formerly
Holiday-Inn), Mimosa Drive, Mimosa Leisure Estate, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
The caravan was organized by the Regional Tripartite Wage and Productivity Board Central Luzon in partnership with the Department of
Labor and Employment (Dole) Clark Satellite Office.
This year’s caravan, anchoring the theme “Usapang 2Ps: Pasahod at Productivity,” aims to promote a better understanding of the various
productivity initiatives undertaken by the wage board and the Dole.
The caravan will be highlighted by various productivity programs such productivity orientation, orientation on the wage order and
technical assistance in the development of a productivity–based incentive scheme.
Aside from this, the annual Productivity Olympics will be having its official kick-off among participating firms from different parts
of the region.
Dole Regional Director Ana Dione, who also chairs the wage board, urged for a proactive participation from all invited locators
residing with the Clark Free Zone.
“We are urging our different locators from the Clark Freeport Zone to take an active step in participating in this year’s Productivity
Caravan. We have prepared various productivity-related activities and advocacies, including updates with the recently effected new
regional minimum wage, that are geared towards promoting productivity and growth among industries in this Freeport zone,” Dione said.
The one-day event will commence at 8 a.m. and will conclude at 3 p.m.
