Ceres FC extended the lead with Ian Ramsay and OJ Porteria adding two more goals in the 29th and 32nd minutes for a commanding four-nil advantage at the half.

The host team extended their lead to 5-0 when substitute Bienvenido Marañon scored on a penalty in the 61st minute after a hand ball.

The Stallion didn’t easily give up as skipper Ruben Doctora Jr. intercepted a weak backpass by Ceres FC and scored Laguna’s first in the 77th. Terrence Linatoc doubled the visitor’s score in the 81st minute.

Stallion FC coach Richard Leyble said they learned a lot from their two games at Panaad. He acknowledged that they have lots of things to work on to notch their first win.

“With the result, we may also think of strengthening our recruitment and train harder to meet the standard of this league,” he added.

Ceres FC coach Risto Vidakovic, said it’s not easy to play this level, but stressed that the team did everything.

“They worked hard, especially in the first half which was very hot. I think the referee forgot to give the water break. So I can only congratulate my players that they give their 100 hundred percent and congratulations for the win and three points,” he added.
