DAVAO San Miguel Aguilas FC allowed only host Ceres Negros FC a 2-0 victory with a solid 10-man defense all throughout on Saturday at Panaad Park and Stadium.
The Aguilas, which forced Global Cebu FC to a scoreless draw in Cebu City, did not allow the Busmen to repeat its twin back-to-back 7-0 scores against Meralco Manila and Ilocos United FC.
The Davao side has now five draws and six defeats while the Negros pride is still undefeated this season.
The Aguilas, who were down with 16 men since seven in its roster are campaigning with the Philippine Under 22 team, played a tough customer against the Busmen.
Fil-Danish midfielder Jason de Jong, former Ceres FC midfielders Jorrel Aristorenas and Simone Rota, who were reported to have transferred to Davao did not see action.
